1. Data Collection (Hybrid)
Legends Rift uses a hybrid approach to data storage to maximize your user experience while respecting your privacy.
- Guest Mode (Default): Your preferences (language, local quiz progress) are stored solely on your device via 'LocalStorage'. No personal data is sent to our servers.
- Account Mode (Logged In): By creating an account, we collect your email address (hashed), a username, and your global progress for cross-device synchronization. This data is stored in our secure database.
2. Use of Riot Games Data
We interact with the official Riot Games API to retrieve public game information (Champions, Items, Patch Notes). We do not store your League of Legends credentials or passwords.
3. Security & Storage
Our databases are hosted in Europe (GDPR Compliant). We use standard encryption protocols (AES-256) to protect data in transit and at rest. Vercel Analytics may collect anonymous performance metadata.
