Optimizing the time spent in the shop during each return to base (Back) is a key indicator of your macro-game level. Wasting 10 seconds looking for what to buy or calculating gold slows down your game tempo and can make you miss a minion wave or a dragon. The Forge game on Legends Rift is designed to engrave item recipes and build paths into your memory.
Every League of Legends season brings its share of new items, removals, and modified recipes. The Forge of Legends Rift is dynamically updated to match Season 16 items. Whether you are a tank looking to optimize health regen or an AD carry looking for maximum armor penetration, The Forge is your ultimate theoretical preparation workshop. Test your roster knowledge in the Champions Quiz.
The Forge challenges you to rebuild the components of a finished item (e.g. Trinity Force, Rabadon's Deathcap) or, conversely, to find which item is created from a selection of basic components. In Blitz mode (Speed Buy), you must complete these assemblies as quickly as possible to simulate shop pressure during a ranked match. Each correct recipe strengthens your transactional speed in the shop.
Knowing recipes by heart allows you to plan your purchases several minutes in advance. For example, if you back with 1100 gold, you must instantly know which intermediate components maximize your damage while building towards your final item. Additionally, it develops your adaptability: facing a heavy magic damage team, knowing how to modify your build path on the fly to integrate magic resistance without wasting gold is the hallmark of great players. You can also match your item expertise with champion attributes in our Target game.
The quiz focuses mainly on legendary items and their intermediate components, as these require complex and strategic build decisions during the game.
Classic mode allows you to take your time to analyze the item tree, while Blitz mode imposes a stressful timer to simulate ultra-fast purchasing in-game before enemies contest an objective.
You can visit the integrated Encyclopedia (Wiki) on Legends Rift, which lists all official items with their costs, stats, and interactive components.
